Falk Borgmann, Head of ConsultingHeadquartered in Hamburg, Deepshore is at the forefront of developing solutions that large-scale enterprises need to archive data in a safe, compliant manner with minimal operating costs. Utilizing cutting-edge cloud-based technologies, blockchain solution sets, and artificial intelligence (AI), Deepshore develops state-of-the-art IT infrastructures and freely scalable data storage solutions while adhering to compliance standards such as GDPR and more. Case in point, the Deepshore blockchain archive leverages cloud storage to reduce operational costs for an enterprise and provide real-time information to the companies when required. On the other hand, Deepshore’s AI-based analytical services support clients by analyzing the stored data to provide actionable insights. Notably, its collaboration with Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) has been crucial in developing new IT infrastructure for data archival.
Rolf Hamel, General Manager“Deepshore’s value lies in its ability to orchestrate the data storage services and protect and shield enterprise data within a distributed environment,” affirms Falk Borgmann, the head of consulting of the company. The company has a tried and tested combination of big data and compliant storage, which is highly flexible to be deployed in any kind of architecture— on the cloud, on-premises, and even on hybrid infrastructures. This makes digital data almost independent from any hardware systems.
The company’s engagement with a leading German wholesaler stands as a testimony to its abilities in providing data storage solutions. The client wanted to move away from their conventional archive solution to compliant and accurate document storage systems. Deepshore, after 12 months of research and tests, developed a new cloud storage archive that allowed it to back up the client’s data from multiple systems without relying on WORM storage. The system not only rectified erroneous data through blockchain but also was able to provide comprehensive real-time evaluation functions for subsequent applications. Another highlight of this collaboration was that this project was the first productive blockchain implementation for such an IT architecture in Europe.
Moreover, Deepshore continues to support its clients without interruptions, even in the face of aggressive lockdowns during COVID-19 pandemic. It has already been able to successfully navigate through the pandemic without any significant disruptions. For the future, Deepshore is planning to extend its operations overseas, mostly to the American subcontinent.
