In this context, RISE with SAP has emerged – a Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS) product that aims to accompany and accelerate the digital transformation step by step. In practice, an assessment of existing processes is made in order to optimize them to run on a new cloud-based infrastructure. From this, organizations can achieve rapid digital adaptability.

Coopersap, a SAP consultants cooperative that was born in 2019 with the commitment to bring innovation from the SAP world to its customers and partners, is using the RISE with SAP solution package to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA in Leveros – an organization that has been operating for 44 years offering complete solutions in air conditioning, refrigeration and solar energy. With this suite of solutions, it was possible to ensure a smooth migration of the business to SAP S/4HANA in an SAP private cloud – in a customized approach to increase business intelligence.

The need to update organizations in the digital world

RISE with SAP is a SAP-curated solution that helps companies implement the digital transformation they need. In the case of Leveros, the SAP S/4HANA migration project arose from SAP's own motivation regarding the need to transition from ECC. The end of support that SAP itself will provide for ECC has generated the need to reposition to S/4HANA. That is, it is a necessity that paves the way for all the benefits of used ERP modernization.

Duration of a RISE with SAP project

The duration of a RISE with SAP project depends on the complexity of the operations and objectives pursued. In the case of Leveros, the project took place from March 2022 to February 2023.

In this situation, the project took 11 months because it was necessary to review some core processes to rewrite them in a way that adheres to S/4HANA, 3 cycles of integrated tests due to the complexity of the business and the number of integrations used. In addition, it was also considered that it would be more advantageous to do Go Live after the 2022 annual closing.

The desired benefits of migrating to S/4HANA

The new version of HANA brings Leveros several performance benefits with its applications. But more than that, RISE with SAP creates the perfect environment to revisit all of the company's processes – replacing the accelerated ones that had been previously developed.

For this, Leveros sought a reliable implementation consultancy and partner to implement S/4HANA efficiently. “We had no doubts when we opted for Coopersap with this cooperative profile. With this companionship profile, we understood that HANA technology, with this new version of HANA, brought the opportunity to rewrite our integrations and processes in general”, says Tiziano Filho, CEO of Leveros.

In the project with Leveros, Coopersap consultants worked from the beginning to the end of the process to guarantee the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
