Cenosco announces that it had appointed Jan Poulsen as the company's new CEO, and he will concentrate on professionalizing the organization.
FREMONT, CA: Cenosco announces the appointment of Jan Poulsen as the company's new CEO, replacing Mischa Simonis. Poulsen will concentrate on professionalizing the organization and guiding it towards continuous product growth. Simonis will be able to concentrate solely on product growth as a result of this.
The news follows Cenosco's recent announcement of a new alliance with European software investor Fortino Capital Partners. Cenosco's investment milestone was announced in early December 2020, signaling the start of a rapid growth journey for the company. Poulsen's expertise would be crucial in achieving the company's growth goals.
Cenosco has big goals to finetune and expand their cloud-based, mobile-friendly technology, which is used to address risks related to integrity, reliability, and instrumentation protection, based on more than two decades of experience and robust partnerships in the oil and gas industry. The IMS (Integrity Management System) framework is made up of modules that cover various assets parts. It determines the best intervention times and establishes an effective maintenance plan. Chemicals, Pulp and Paper, Energy & Utilities, and other industries with heavy machinery and installations like Oil and Gas Sector uses the solution. Users should anticipate various new and enhanced features, like 3D-mapped inspection plans, AR and VR, machine learning for image processing, artificial intelligence as part of the Degradation Management Framework, reliability analytics, and seamless integrations CMMS, and Digital Twins, referring every aspect of an asset lifecycle.
Poulsen has worked with market-leading companies across industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy & Utilities, Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals and has a successful track record based on commercial and operational business activities. Before, he was the CEO of Thinkstep AG, a multinational software and consulting firm specializing in compliance and sustainability. Poulsen holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. He has even accomplished the Scandinavian Executive Institute's Executive Board Program at INSEAD.
"Jan is the perfect fit for Cenosco," said Matthias Vandepitte, Partner at Fortino Capital, who is the majority shareholder. "Jans extensive experience with business development and international expansion, together with his strong leadership experience, will help focus Cenosco during the accelerated growth phase in the coming years."
