BRIDGEWATER, NJ: Lafayette General Health (LGH), a community owned regional health system, announces implementation of Universal Contract Manager (UCM) to streamline contract management.

UCM is a cloud-based contract lifecycle management solution from iContracts that facilitates management of contracting process. Effective management of contracts, improved visibility, controlled access and measured performance are the benefits Lafayette General Medical Center is gaining from UCM to stay in compliance with their hospital. LGH is currently managing thousands of contracts and associated documents across multiple facilities. iContracts migrated contracts and data from an existing system to UCM.

LGH will utilize iContracts UCM as a software service over the web, thus eliminating fresh investments on facilities, hardware, software or related costs. UCM covers all aspects of health system’s contract management lifecycle including contract creation, milestones and compliance monitoring.

UCM acts as a central repository and provides a framework for managing contract lifecycle management and contract components. Intuitive design enables user to effectively access and manage the software. It supports all major web browsers and smartphones.

“As Lafayette General continues to expand, the need for a more powerful, flexible and scalable contract management system has grown in importance,” stated Gordon E. Rountree, Jr., SVP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Lafayette General Health. “iContracts seamlessly migrated data from our existing platform, enabling us to quickly begin utilizing UCM throughout our entire organization, yielding major improvements in our contract and compliance management processes.”
