London Tech Week 2026 reaffirmed its position as one of the world's most influential technology events, bringing together the global leaders, innovators, policymakers and investors driving the next wave of technological transformation. Against the backdrop of unprecedented advances in artificial intelligence, quantum computing and digital innovation, the event served as a platform for ideas, collaboration and investment that will shape the future of technology for years to come.
Welcoming more than 35,000 registered attendees, 700+ speakers, and 400+ sponsors and exhibitors from 142 countries, this year's event showcased the strength of London's thriving technology ecosystem while highlighting the UK's ambition to remain at the forefront of global innovation.
The week opened with a keynote from UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who outlined the UK's vision to become a global leader in artificial intelligence while championing responsible innovation, economic growth and public trust. Throughout the week, industry pioneers from organisations including Microsoft UK and Ireland, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Anthropic, Perplexity AI, ElevenLabs, and AMD, shared insights into the technologies transforming business, government and society.
Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, took to the Main Stage to share her vision for the future of computing and artificial intelligence, highlighting how advanced processors and accelerated computing are powering the next generation of AI applications. One of the defining moments of the week came with the attendance of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, who joined leaders from the Homewards initiative to explore how technology and data can help tackle homelessness. The session demonstrated the growing potential of technology to solve complex social challenges through collaboration between government, charities and industry.
Across five days, attendees explored a diverse programme covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, cloud infrastructure, digital health, sustainability and emerging technologies. Discussions extended beyond technical innovation to address regulation, ethical AI, workforce transformation and the future of global competitiveness.
The exhibition floor brought these conversations to life, with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing breakthrough technologies, live demonstrations and next generation solutions. Meanwhile, startup showcases, investor networking, fringe events and interactive experiences created valuable opportunities for partnerships, investment and knowledge sharing across the international technology community.
London Tech Week 2026 also celebrated innovation through initiatives such as the People's Choice Awards, recognising the organisations and technologies making a tangible impact across the industry. Combined with dedicated networking programmes and community activations, the event fostered meaningful connections between startups, enterprises, investors and policymakers from around the world.
