The new capabilities significantly boost customers who do not have data centers where their remote employees are based.
FREMONT, CA: Citrix ADC helps companies ensure that they can access their applications and retain the size, efficiency, and protection they need, wherever they are located and whatever the circumstances.
With shelter-in-place mandates in many communities, consumers are extending their remote-work capabilities with Citrix ADC to offer greater bandwidth and security, whether by increased capacity at their data center or through switching to the cloud in remote locations. The new features of the Citrix ADC 13.0 release will meet the business continuity needs of organizations.
The business delivered on three topics with the 13.0 update, improving overall Citrix ADC capabilities in the public cloud; enhanced security capabilities; and smart analytics and optimized ease of use with Citrix Application Delivery Management (ADM).
Expanded Public Cloud Capacity
These capabilities significantly boost customers who do not have data centers where their remote employees are based. They can now extend to cloud partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to increase capacity to support remote staff and allow global load balancing with their on-prem data centers for higher accessibility with higher bandwidth.
Enhanced security Capabilities
The new features would provide peace of mind to organizations that have extended their Citrix ADC deployments by allowing more workers to work remotely using Citrix Workspace and existing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
Intelligent Analytics and Improved Ease of Use with Citrix ADM
Its highlights include:
• Intelligent analytics leveraging machine learning algorithms to help customers solve real-time problems and provide suggested remedial action.
• Analytics on bot attacks to further boost troubleshooting capabilities
• Enhanced service graphic capabilities that allow the graphical management of all services and applications.
• VMware VMotion support for Citrix ADM facilitates the migration of active virtual machines from one server to another.
There are many exceptional new features across ADC, ADM, and Gateway portfolios that will help businesses scale, offer better performance for remote staff and give IT administrators the insight they need to track user experience and all applications, whether prem or cloud-based.
