In particular, Microsoft Purview Information Protection will now be able to connect to Utimaco's DKE (Double Key Encryption) Anchor system. This makes it possible for Utimaco's clients, some of the greatest corporations and governments in the world, to securely and flexibly move their cryptographic workloads to the cloud while maintaining total control.
According to the business, the Cloudification of cryptography may be very complicated. The Utimaco DKE Anchor solution, however, enables customers to retain control over their most crucial cryptographic assets while using Microsoft Azure's advantages.
Organisations can use cloud services with the Utimaco DKE Anchor without disclosing their cryptographic keys. As a result, they can comply with compliance rules that mandate that organisations preserve key ownership without compromising the scalability of their implementation.
It enables both key lifecycle management and cloud enablement in a single package, meeting the demands for two-tier security for the most sensitive data in the Azure cloud. This is made possible by Microsoft Purview, a system utilised by sectors like eHealth, government, and the automotive industry that must adhere to rules like GDPR, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, eIDAS, and others.
According to Eyal Worthalter, vice president of global solution sales at Utimaco, the announcement represents an extension of the Utimaco commitment to the Microsoft relationship that clients can rely on. The best practices for the next generation of cloud security are being defined, and the quantum gap will be addressed, placing Utimaco at the forefront of the security technology community.
By strengthening its partnership with Microsoft, Utimaco is better positioned to provide clients throughout the globe with cloud-based security solutions that shield data from threats both on-premises and in the cloud. Companies are honoured to have been chosen as a MISA nominee, and they look forward to working with the organisation to collaboratively develop more products that assist clients in safeguarding their digital assets and identities.
Microsoft's data protection and compliance solutions help organisations intelligently assess risk, govern and protect sensitive data, and effectively respond to regulatory requirements. Members of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, such as Utimaco, provide solutions that take advantage of the extensive extensibility scenarios offered by Microsoft to adapt, extend, integrate, and accelerate member solutions for their common clients.
