Mehmet ILEM, CEO and co-founderSADELABS breathes life into innovative ideas. At its heart, it leverages wireless network technologies and software platforms to build innovative products and services, empowering clients to digitally transform their businesses with Internet of Things (IoT) applications. By integrating smart devices, sensors, and numerous other assets to interconnect “things,” such as beacons, machines, equipment, and vehicles, the SADELABS IoT platform provides tracking and tracing, remote-monitoring applications, and smart solutions for logistics, manufacturing, energy, retail, security, automotive, tourism, and more. Besides, the company also offers R&D, design, production, application, and after-sales services to customers dwelling in the technology development zone.
Banking on its enriched experience of over a decade and its strong relationships with business partners, SADELABS is marching ahead to bolster its mission of producing innovative technology solutions worldwide. “Our story is based upon the true ‘inspiration’ we derive from ‘simplicity’ in each and every aspect of the production process as well as connectedness, digitalisation, and perfection aimed at the local, national, and global arena,” underscores Mehmet ILEM, co-founder, SADELABS. ILEM highlights that be it roadblocks related to digital transformation needs or challenges while establishing seamless machine-to-machine connectivity/data collection, SADELABS’ user-intuitive IoT solutions and inspirational partnering opportunities solves them all. The company enables customers to reach for the simplest decision-making variables in their workflows to achieve the most effective transformation outcomes in terms of operational processes.
As we develop and manufacture our own hardware while deploying the software, we are more flexible for target use case
Further speaking on the prevailing pain points in the market, ILEM expresses that enterprises still rely on manual operations that often lead to anomalies and poor-quality issues. To remove such bottlenecks, SADELABS offers specific hardware components to digitalise the process and provide shorter integration processes with customers’ existing software platforms like ERP, WMS, and BI tools. Essentially, the company divides the customer’s digitalisation project into steps like demo, proof of concept, full project, and the likes of it and analyses the same for chances of improvement. Furthermore, while implementing an application for customers, SADELABS keeps adding new features to the existing infrastructure, thereby optimising turnover and proportional profitability, and emerging as long term partners to its clients.
“As we develop and manufacture our own hardware while deploying the software, we are more flexible for a target use case. Besides, our agile team’s proficiency in IoT applications for various sectors gives us a unique perspective even before starting a project or during the implementation,” informs the co-founder. Since an IoT application is based on specific hardware in the field, SADELABS’ wireless technology usage know-how brings it one step ahead for variable application areas. Instead of adapting the existing solution to a new application, the Turkish firm can adjust its hardware or software, thanks to its platform approach.
Through its out-of-the-box strategies, SADELABS addresses the digitalisation demands of cold chain monitoring, asset tracking, and energy monitoring from the hardware/software perspective. The company is also developing new solutions for indoor positioning, real-time locating systems (RTLS)-based solutions, heat map analytics, health and safety applications, collision avoidance inside the plants, and contact tracing for the uninterrupted manufacturing process in plants, and so on.
Predominantly, SADELABS connects with its stakeholders, employers, customers, and suppliers through mutual trust and inspirational exchange of ideas that develop in line with the basic principles of its corporate culture. From smart loggers to wireless sensors, the company provides offline and online solutions to customers ranging from retail to logistics and food producers to pharmacies. To illustrate its solutions’ efficacy, ILEM cites a case study wherein SADELABS collaborated with Ferrero and its GSM operator, cooler manufacturer, and logistics partner and leveraged its state-of-the-art IoT hardware during the installation of new cooler systems. Owing to its robust hardware sensors, Ferrero seamlessly monitored cooler-temperature, location/unauthorised displacement details, temperature fluctuations beyond threshold and could even track coolers’ daily performance.
Presently, while designing a reliable, affordable, and practical contact tracing solution during pandemic climate together with MESS (Turkish Employers’ Association of Metal Industries) to keep employees safe and productive , SADELABS is experiencing an agile product journey. Together with BONI, the company created a software platform and embedded in it low energy Bluetooth-based functioning. “We have launched a unique, scalable solution using wearable devices, mobile applications, and a cloud based management platform. It is now in use for more than 40k employees in hundreds of locations and the firmware can easily be adapted for post-covid HSE scenarios” remarks ILEM. Taking the innovations forward, SADELABS expects to open new doors in the wireless paradigm through enhanced, futuristic IoT applications. With innovation at its core, it will be noteworthy to witness SADELABS reach new milestones in the long run.
